Job summary

4A Consulting, LLC in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Senior Amazon Connect Developer to lead design and implementation of enterprise contact-center solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS cloud services.

You will work hands-on with Amazon Connect, IVR, ACD, and advanced routing, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, serverless AWS-based solutions. This is an onsite role with in-person interviews required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Math, Eng or related field.
• 7+ years of experience with large-scale enterprise frameworks and environments.
• 7+ years of experience with AWS Cloud technologies.
• 3+ years of hands-on Amazon Connect experience.
• 3+ years of development using Node.js, Python, and/or Java.
• 3+ years of call-routing and messaging technologies.
• Hands-on experience with IVR and ACD solutions.
• Experience with skill-based routing.
• Experience developing or supporting live-chat solutions.
• Experience with AWS Lambda and Lex.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support Amazon Connect contact-center solutions.
• Develop and maintain call flows, contact flows, IVR solutions, routing strategies and customer interaction workflows.
• Design and implement Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) functionality.
• Implement skill-based routing and advanced call-routing strategies.
• Develop and support live-chat and messaging capabilities.
• Translate business and technical requirements into Amazon Connect solutions.
• Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Review and document contact-center requirements and workflows.
• Create process-flow diagrams and technical documentation.
• Integrate Amazon Connect with other AWS services and enterprise apps.
• Develop serverless components using AWS Lambda with Node.js, Python, and/or Java.
• Create conversational solutions using Amazon Lex and NLP capabilities.
• Implement data streaming and analytics using Amazon Kinesis Streams.
• Work with AWS Glue for data processing and integration.
• Configure and support AWS VPC-based solutions.
• Develop event-driven integrations using Amazon SNS and EventBridge.
• Collaborate with AWS AppSync for API integrations.
• Support data delivery and streaming using Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose.
• Work with DynamoDB and DynamoDB Streams for application data and event processing.
• Utilize AWS services such as Service Catalog and Kinesis Data Analytics as needed.
