Job summary

Verisys seeks a hands-on Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and secure AWS infrastructure behind its healthcare credentialing platform. The role covers Windows and Linux administration, on‑prem Nutanix, Rancher clusters, ECS/ECS Anywhere, SMTP relay, and SSL/TLS cert management in a remote setting.

You will move among cloud engineering, systems administration, and business support, with high ownership and shifting priorities. Must reside in allowed US states.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or systems administration with 3+ years on production AWS workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, highly available AWS infrastructure following the AWS Well-Architected Framework with emphasis on security, cost, and DR.
• Manage infrastructure as code (CloudFormation) and support CI/CD pipelines for container builds and deployments.
• Run containerized workloads on Amazon ECS and ECS Anywhere, and administer Rancher native Cattle clusters.
