Acrisure Re in Melbourne, FL is hiring an experienced Assistant Vice President of Catastrophe Modeling to deliver advanced risk analytics for clients and internal teams. The role combines hands-on modeling, client advisory, and project coordination to support reinsurance decisions and portfolio management.

You will work with brokers, actuaries, and data scientists to translate complex model results into actionable insights, mentor junior staff, and help advance Acrisure Re's analytics platform.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in meteorology, atmospheric science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, geoscience, computer science, or related field.
• 5+ years of catastrophe modeling and analytics experience in insurance, reinsurance, or related industry.
• Strong working knowledge of RMS and Verisk platforms and catastrophe modeling concepts.
• Ability to translate modeling results into business insights.
• Experience with model validation and multi-model comparisons.

Responsabilidades

• Perform and coordinate catastrophe modeling and portfolio risk analyses across major natural perils.
• Run analyses using RMS, Verisk, and other models with QA procedures.
• Interpret key metrics: AAL, PML, EP curves, losses, and return-period analyses.
• Present analyses to clients and brokers with actionable recommendations.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to analytics tool development.
