Job summary

Acrisure Re, a global reinsurance broker, seeks an Assistant Vice President, Actuarial, to price reinsurance contracts and advise clients across diverse lines. The role blends independent analysis with mentorship of junior staff, touching traditional carriers, MGAs, and insurtech partners.

You will build pricing models, communicate complex results clearly, and contribute to actuarial standards, tools, and research while travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• ACAS designation with active progression toward FCAS.
• 4+ years actuarial experience, preferably in reinsurance pricing.
• Proficiency with Excel; familiar with R, SQL, Python; AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform pricing analyses for proportional, excess of loss, and structured reinsurance deals using actuarially sound assumptions.
• Develop dynamic stochastic models and pricing strategies to meet client objectives.
• Communicate analysis results and complex technical concepts clearly to clients, reinsurers and brokers.
• Support brokers in submissions, pricing, structuring, and placing reinsurance; evaluate new opportunities.
• Provide input to respond to technical queries from clients and brokers regarding data and trends.
