Job summary

The Emerald Group seeks a strategic leader to oversee catastrophe modeling across its insurance and reinsurance operations in the United States. Reporting to the Group CUO, you will drive risk analytics into underwriting, pricing, capital allocation, and long-term risk management.

You will lead model development, validation, and integration of climate and emerging risk insights, while advancing AI and big data analytics to support business decisions and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of catastrophe modeling experience in insurance or reinsurance.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives.
• Expertise with RMS and AIR modeling platforms.
• Knowledge of climate modeling and emerging risk analysis.
• Certifications (FCAS, ACAS, CERA) are a plus.
