Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer to support acquisition, development, and sustainment of aviation programs. The role requires full-time on-site presence at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD and an ACTIVE Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities include developing software requirements, coordinating with vendors, conducting defect analysis, and participating in SE Reviews. Preferred experience includes MBSE, Agile, and MIL/DoD standards.

Qualifications

• At least ten years of software and systems engineering experience.
• Experience with military aircraft avionic systems and/or software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements.
• Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
• Conduct analysis of software defects.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity subject matter experts.
• Participate in SE Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
• Support ECP process and SOW/CDRL preparation.
• Develop IGCEs and assist technical evaluations of proposals.
