Job summary

Blue Origin envisions millions living and working in space to benefit Earth. The Lunar Permanence team develops landers and transport systems, releasing CAD data for avionics layouts and assemblies.

You will collaborate with subsystem teams to place avionics boxes and ensure designs meet standards while balancing cost and schedule. Minimum qualifications include a CAD associate degree and 4+ years in aerospace; Creo/Windchill and GD&T proficiency are required, with strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD design.
• 4+ years in aerospace development.
• Proficiency in Creo Parametric and Windchill.
• Proficiency in GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Experience managing large CAD assemblies, BOMs, ICMs, and skeletons.
• Experience designing spacecraft avionics parts and assemblies.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design layouts and release CAD data using Creo and PLM tools.
• Apply design techniques to plan, layout and maintain data depicting engineering designs.
• Interface with other vehicle subsystem teams to place avionics boxes.
• Review drawings to ensure alignment with specifications and standards.
• Implement standard methodologies to balance cost, schedule and performance.
