Job summary

Reliable Robotics Corporation in Mountain View, CA is building safety-enhancing autonomous aviation software. As a Senior Simulation Software Engineer you will lead a scalable, deterministic simulation framework used to accelerate testing of safety-critical systems.

You will work with flight software, guidance/navigation/control, and hardware test engineers to improve core architecture, performance, reproducibility, and to enable millions of flight-hour equivalents in a cloud-based Monte Carlo

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years industry experience in simulation systems within aviation, automotive or comparable environments
• 7+ years professional experience in object oriented C++ and Python (or other scripting languages)

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to develop a robust, deterministic simulation framework for safety-critical systems.
• Collaborate with flight software, guidance/nav/control and hardware test engineers to expand simulation.
• Mentor team members to improve skills and architecture.
