Job summary

Reliable Robotics is building safety-enhancing aviation technology. As a Simulation Software Engineer, you’ll shape our simulation stack, optimizing performance and realism across the flight dynamics and hardware emulation domains.

You will join the Simulation and Test Systems team to enable rapid testing of autonomous aircraft software with high-fidelity physics, cloud-based Monte-Carlo infrastructure, and HIL environments. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years industry experience in simulation systems within aviation, automotive or comparable environments.
• 5+ years professional experience in object oriented C++ and Python (or other scripting languages)

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to develop a robust, deterministic, and scalable software simulation framework for testing safety-critical systems.
• Collaborate with flight software, guidance/navigation/control, and hardware test engineers to expand the simulation system.
• Improve core architecture for performance, reproducibility, and flexibility; mentor team members.
