Job summary

Reliable Robotics Corporation in San Diego, CA is seeking a Simulation Software Engineer to lead projects developing a robust, deterministic, and scalable software simulation framework to accelerate testing of safety-critical systems in autonomous aircraft. You will work with hardware-in-the-loop environments, high-fidelity physics simulation, and cloud-based Monte-Carlo infrastructure to enable millions of flight hours for certification.

Must travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Math, or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of industry experience in simulation systems within aviation, automotive or comparable environments.
• 5+ years professional experience in object oriented C++ and Python

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to develop a deterministic, scalable software simulation framework.
• Collaborate with flight software, guidance/navigation/control, and hardware test engineers.
• Improve core architecture, performance, reproducibility, and flexibility.
• Mentor team members to improve skills.
