Job summary

Reliable Robotics seeks a Simulation Software Engineer to shape its simulation software stack, including performance, flight dynamics modeling, hardware emulation, and test infrastructure. You will lead projects to build a robust, deterministic framework and work with flight software, guidance, and hardware test engineers to expand the system.

The role emphasizes DO-178 safety-critical software experience, distributed real-time systems, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years industry experience in simulation systems within aviation, automotive or comparable environments.
• 5+ years professional experience in object oriented C++ and Python (or other scripting languages).

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to develop a robust, deterministic, and scalable software simulation framework.
• Collaborate with flight software, guidance/navigation/control, and hardware test engineers.
• Improve core architecture for performance, reproducibility and flexibility; mentor team members.
