Job summary

Reliable Robotics is seeking a Simulation Software Engineer to shape our simulation stack used to test safety-critical autonomous aircraft software. You will lead the development of a robust, scalable framework and collaborate across flight software, controls, and hardware test teams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have a computer science or engineering background with 5+ years in aviation simulation and strong C++/Python skills, plus DO-178 experience and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years industry experience in simulation systems within aviation, automotive or comparable environments
• 5+ years professional experience in object oriented C++ and Python

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to develop a robust, deterministic, and scalable simulation framework.
• Collaborate with flight software, guidance/navigation/control, and hardware test engineers to expand our simulation system.
• Improve core architecture for performance, reproducibility, and flexibility.
• Mentor team members to improve their own skills.
• Work with hardware-in-the-loop test environments, high-fidelity physics simulation stack, and cloud-based Monte-Carlo infrastructure.
