Job summary

Invenergy LLC seeks an experienced OT PI System specialist to act as a subject matter expert and drive data integration across SCADA, DCS, RTUs, and PLCs. You will configure, administer, and optimize AVEVA PI environments, collaborating with IT and Operations to ensure reliable data availability for control centers.

The role requires advanced PI System knowledge, strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, and .NET, and a track record of improving system architecture and automation.

Qualifications

• Five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for OT systems with focus on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into PI System from OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Investigate and integrate complex OT systems with PI System.
• Administer PI System components (PI Data Archive, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, Adapters, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision).
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and reliability.
