Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an experienced AVEVA PI System administrator to manage enterprise-scale PI environments, including Data Archive, AF, and Vision, and to oversee data integrations from OT sources across SCADA and DCS platforms.

You will design scalable PI System architectures, implement infrastructure upgrades, and develop automation in Python, PowerShell, and .NET. This remote-friendly role partners with IT and Operations Engineering to ensure data reliability and system performance.

Qualifications

• Five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archive, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API and PI Vision.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and troubleshooting communication issues.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for OT systems with a primary focus on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into AVEVA PI System from OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Administer PI components including PI Data Archive, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, and PI Vision.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Develop automation for maintenance and custom telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Coordinate infrastructure upgrades with IT and stakeholders to minimize disruption.
