Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an experienced OT/PI Systems specialist to manage enterprise AVEVA PI environments and data integrations. You will configure data collection from SCADA, DCS, RTUs and PLCs, and administer PI components to ensure reliability and performance.

You will lead modernization efforts, coordinate IT upgrades, and develop automation in Python, PowerShell and .NET while mentoring junior team members. This remote-friendly role supports a large utility-scale energy portfolio.

Qualifications

• Five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archives, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API and PI Vision.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting communication issues.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting using .NET, PowerShell and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert for OT systems, focusing on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the PI System from OT platforms including SCADA, DCS, RTUs, and PLCs.
• Investigate, evaluate, and integrate complex OT systems with the PI System.
• Administer PI components such as Data Archive, Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Coordinate with IT for infrastructure upgrades, patching and maintenance.
