Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an experienced AVEVA PI specialist to oversee enterprise PI environments and OT data integrations. You will configure data collection from SCADA, DCS, RTUs, and PLCs, administer PI components, and lead architecture improvements for reliability.

You will develop automation and telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET, maintain documentation, and mentor junior engineers while supporting control center data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Five+ years administering enterprise AVEVA PI environments (Data Archive, AF, PI Vision, PI Web API, Collectives).
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting communication issues.
• Proficiency with programming/scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for OT systems focusing on the AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Administer PI components (Data Archive, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, Adapters, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision).
• Lead improvements to PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Develop automation and telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Maintain technical documentation and support data pipelines for Operations Engineering.
