Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an experienced OT systems engineer with deep AVEVA PI System expertise to manage data collection from SCADA/DCS/RTU/PLC sources. You will administer PI Data Archive, AF, Vision, and related interfaces, and drive architecture improvements for reliability and scalability.

You will design scalable workarounds, develop automation in Python/PowerShell/.NET, and collaborate with IT for upgrades. This role may be remote-based within the US.

Qualifications

• Five+ years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments.
• Proficiency in .NET, PowerShell, and Python scripting.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for OT systems with a focus on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection from OT platforms into the PI System.
• Investigate, evaluate, and integrate unfamiliar OT systems with PI System.
• Administer PI components: PI Data Archive, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, Adapters, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and reliability.
• Coordinate with IT for upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
• Develop automation for system maintenance and telemetry feeds using Python/PowerShell/.NET.
• Mentor junior team members and document solutions.
