Job summary

Invenergy LLC seeks an experienced OT systems specialist to own AVEVA PI System administration, data integration, and system reliability. You will configure data collection from SCADA, DCS, RTUs, and PLCs, manage PI components, and drive architecture improvements while coordinating with IT for upgrades and maintenance.

The role requires deep PI expertise, strong scripting in .NET/PowerShell/Python, and a track record of enabling scalable, automated telemetry pipelines for real-time operations.

Qualifications

• Five+ years administering enterprise AVEVA PI environments (Data Archive, Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision).
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge with troubleshooting experience.
• Proficient in programming/scripting with .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for OT systems focusing on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the PI System from OT sources (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Administer and support PI components (PI Data Archive, Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision).
• Lead efforts to improve PI System design, data integrations, and reliability.
• Coordinate with IT for infrastructure upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
