Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks a Senior VoIP / Contact Center Engineer (Avaya) to engineer, implement, and deliver large-scale, high-availability contact center platforms. This onsite role supports Jersey City, Charlotte, and Jacksonville locations for a 12-month duration.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in Contact Center/VoIP engineering with hands-on Avaya implementation experience, strong problem-solving, and collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in Contact Center/VoIP engineering; 7+ years implementing enterprise voice solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and configuration of Avaya Contact Center solutions per engineering designs.
• Partner with program delivery teams to develop timelines and plans.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and deliver high-visibility status updates.
• Provide L3/L4 engineering support for complex voice environments.
• Create and maintain installation, configuration, and operat ional procedures for Avaya platforms.
• Collaborate across voice, network, and application teams on design and troubleshooting.
