Job summary

Waterfield Tech is seeking a Senior Telephony Engineer, Avaya Aura, to lead hands-on deployments of Avaya Aura and UC solutions across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments for enterprise customers, including migrations to CCaaS and AI-enabled capabilities.

You will own day-to-day delivery, mentor junior engineers, develop delivery standards, and ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and contract requirements while advancing the Avaya practice.

Qualifications

• 8+ years implementing and supporting complex Avaya Aura engagements.
• Hands-on deployment, configuration, integration, and cutover.
• Strong mentoring and knowledge sharing with junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on deployment of Avaya Aura end to end across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud.
• Own day-to-day technical delivery: configuration, testing, cutover; manage schedules and quality.
• Perform discovery of customer telephony environments and gather data for servers.
• Configure and deploy Aura call routing, edge, and SBC, including mobile clients.
