Job summary

Greenberg Traurig is seeking a Telecommunications Manager to lead the firm's telephony strategy and operations across offices, focusing on Avaya, cloud PBX, and UCaaS to ensure secure, compliant, and resilient communications.

This role reports to the Director of Network Systems, may be remote, and requires strong leadership, vendor management, budgeting, and change management to deliver multi-year roadmaps for technology transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years managing enterprise telephony systems.
• Expert-level knowledge of the Avaya telephony platform.
• Experience with vendor management, contracts, and budgeting.
• Certifications in UCaaS or cloud telephony preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Technology Leadership: manage Avaya platform and evaluate cloud/UCaaS.Future technology adoption.
• Operations & Implementation: provisioning, installation, maintenance of telecom systems; integration with Teams/Zoom.
• Vendor & Budget Management: manage vendors, audits, budgeting, cost-saving opportunities.
• Team Leadership: direct and develop telecom team, training and performance.
• Compliance & Business Continuity: documentation, DR planning, HIPAA/GDPR/ABA compliance.
