Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technical Lead to oversee intermediate level setup and operation of audiovisual systems in hospitality settings, ensuring guest satisfaction. You will report to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and lead a team of Technicians on delivering world‑class service.

The role emphasizes hands-on AV work, troubleshooting, equipment management, and proactive communication with hotel staff and clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 2-3+ years customer service or hospitality experience.
• 2-3+ years of audio-visual experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required for roles that may operate Company vehicles.
• Must complete required training and certifications within 60 days; DOT may apply.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown audiovisual equipment accurately and timely.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems quickly; follow security and safety measures.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships on site.
• Lead and mentor technicians; ensure flawless event execution and client satisfaction.
• Understand and use Encore systems and applications; finalize invoices when needed.
