Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technical Specialist to manage the setup and operation of mid-level production events in a hospitality setting. You will ensure flawless delivery of advanced audiovisual systems, supervise on-site staff, and maintain security of equipment, while delivering exceptional client service.

You will work under the direction of the Project Management leadership, stay current with industry trends, and mentor teammates to develop technical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of event technology experience with specialty in Audio, Lighting, Projection, or Video is required.
• 3-4 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date; internal applicants must meet internal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operates advanced audiovisual equipment and performs setup, operation and breakdown.
• Troubleshoots technical issues and resolves problems quickly.
• Provides excellent customer service and maintains client relationships.
