Job summary

TaskUs in Detroit is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for the AV Rider Assistance & Dispatch unit, focusing on performance, billing, and P&L. You will lead a team of operations leaders, scale response frameworks, and drive KPI excellence across safety and business metrics.

The role requires 2+ years as a Senior Ops Manager or 7+ years as an Ops Manager in safety-critical environments, with autonomous vehicle experience and on-site availability in Metro

Qualifications

• Two-plus years of experience as a Senior Operations Manager or seven-plus years as an Operations Manager in high-stakes or safety-critical environments.
• Autonomous Vehicle Experience is must.
• Experience managing supervisors and coaching teammates.
• Willingness to travel ~20% to support market launches and field audits.
• 100% on-site availability in Metro Detroit.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations, including performance, billing, and P&L for the AV Rider Assistance & Dispatch unit.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Operations Managers and Team Leads.
• Design scalable response frameworks for AV challenges including edge cases and hardware failures.
• Drive KPI excellence balancing technical metrics with CSAT and AHT.
• Meet with Senior Management and clients to grow the business.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for autonomous transportation.
• Own hiring and talent development to build a top-notch team.
• Foster safety, innovation, and rapid adaptation to technology change.
