Job summary

TaskUs is seeking a Senior Operations Manager for its Detroit-area on-site operations. You will oversee day-to-day fleet operations, billing, and P&L while guiding a leadership team with AV expertise.

The role requires autonomous vehicle experience, 2+ years in senior management or 7+ years in operations, and up to 20% travel for market launches and field audits. A BA/BS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two-plus years as a Senior Operations Manager or seven-plus years as an Operations Manager in safety-critical environments.
• Autonomous Vehicle experience is required.
• BA/BS degree preferred.
• Experience coaching supervisors and developing teammates.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for market launches and field audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, performance, billing, P&L, and resource forecasting for a growing fleet.
• Lead and coach a high-performing team of Operations Managers and Team Leads with AV literacy.
• Design and scale response frameworks for AV challenges, including edge cases and hardware issues.
• Drive KPI excellence balancing Resolution Rates, Safety, CSAT and AHT metrics.
• Meet with Senior Management and clients to support business growth.
• Ensure compliance with evolving autonomous transportation regulations.
• Scale operations, drive performance management, and foster retention.
• Own hiring and talent development, identifying candidates with strong analytics.
• Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and rapid adaptation to technology.
