Job summary

Loyola University Chicago is seeking a Sr. Technology Coordinator to advance classroom and event technology through hands-on project work and system improvements.

You will lead AV upgrade projects, coordinate installations, and collaborate with faculty, IT teams, and vendors to modernize learning spaces. The role requires five years of related experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Crestron/QSYS, Zoom, Panopto, and Office 365.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience designing and implementing classroom AV/IT solutions.
• Strong project management and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS in educational environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AV equipment in classrooms and event spaces to ensure reliable operation.
• Provide real-time tech support for faculty, staff, and events, resolving issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Regularly inspect AV systems to ensure optimal performance and to support upgrades.
• Lead classroom technology refresh projects and coordinate with faculty and vendors.
• Collaborate with IT teams to deliver training and best practices for system usage.
