Job summary
Northwestern University in Evanston is seeking an AV Systems Engineer to provide AV services support, troubleshoot classroom technology, and manage videoconferencing and lecture capture in Learning Spaces. You will develop and maintain in-room and online documentation, assist with incident management, and work in a team to deliver reliable, high‑quality AV services with customer focus.
Familiarity with Crestron, Panopto, Zoom, and Dante is preferred.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in an analytical field or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- One year related AV professional experience.
- Experience with video conferencing software (Zoom and Teams) and networking technologies.
Responsibilities
- Responds to escalated hotline requests for AV support across Learning Spaces Technology Support Service delivery locations.
- Responsible for service delivery and quality assurance for AV and related support services, including incident, change, and problem management.
- Assurance of operational readiness for Learning Spaces Technology Support Service delivery locations; maintains inventories and plans for upgrades.
