Job summary

Solutionz, Inc. is seeking a Lead AV Technician to drive projects through final completion across the Greater Atlanta Area. You will supervise installations, perform testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and ensure punch list closure.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial AV, ability to read drawings, lead teams, travel to customer sites, and coordinate with field engineers. CTS/CTS-I preferred; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years installing, integrating, commissioning, and troubleshooting AV systems.
• Experience leading installation teams and coordinating closeout activities.
• Ability to read AV drawings, wiring diagrams, construction documents, and system schematics.
• CTS certification preferred; CTS-I preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of the final phase of assigned projects, including all outstanding punch list items.
• Maintain ownership of assigned projects until all work is complete in accordance with the project scope.
• Communicate project status, outstanding items, and completion needs to the Director of Field Services, Director of Engineering, or Director of Operations, depending on office location.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and Lead Field Engineer as projects approach the final phase.
• Test the basic functionality of all installed equipment before project technicians are released from the project.
• Work with the Lead Field Engineer to verify project drawings are current and all redlines have been completed.
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform final commissioning as required.
• Manage RMA requests and the return of defective, unused, or replacement equipment associated with assigned projects.
• Verify that all remaining project requirements have been completed before the project is considered closed.
• Communicate identified deficiencies, technical concerns, or additional work requirements to the appropriate project stakeholders.
