Job summary

Encore is seeking a Sr. Technical Lead in Fort Worth to bridge between technical lead and technical specialist, overseeing small general sessions and assisting with larger events. The role reports to an Operations Manager and supports hotel/client relationships.

The position involves operating and maintaining advanced AV gear, mentoring staff, and ensuring top-tier customer service during events. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of field experience in the specialty area required.
• 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• External applicants must meet training and certification requirements within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet training and certification requirements in their current position.

Responsibilities

• Operates, sets up, and breaks down advanced audiovisual equipment for events.
• Troubleshoots technical issues quickly and maintains security of equipment.
• Delivers excellent customer service and cultivates client relationships.
• Mentors and coaches staff to develop technical and leadership skills.
• Supervises technicians during events and assists with pre/post event activities.
