Job summary

Encore Global in Dallas is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations, supervise the technical team, and ensure client satisfaction during events. You will drive service excellence, train staff on standards, and coordinate with venue management for seamless event delivery.

The role requires AV experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This on-site position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced venue environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
3-5 years of audio-visual experience is required.
External applicants must meet training and certification requirements within 60 days.
Internal applicants must meet training and certification requirements as determined by Encore.
Knowledge of technical theory.
Advanced problem-solving skills.
Experience leading workflow and team members.
Valid driver’s license required where company vehicles operate.
Additional DOT requirements may apply.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Organizes daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh and removal of equipment.
Directs the workflow of technicians and suggests operational efficiencies to management.
Ensures flowsheets are updated and properly completed.
Maintains effective communication with clients and venues during events.
Attends venue meetings and supports operational excellence on site.
Trains technicians on floor activities and Encore standards.
