Job summary

M.C. Dean is hiring an AV Design Specialist 4 in Tysons, VA to design, engineer, integrate, operate and maintain advanced AV systems for federal, local, and commercial clients.

You will work with a team of engineers on multi-program projects, defining requirements, architecture, and cost estimates. The role requires Top Secret DoD clearance eligibility, extensive AV knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of videoconferencing standards.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design hardware and software framework for large AV systems and architect solutions.
• Create drawing packages and Bills of Materials in CAD.
• Design and test videoconferencing and integrated AV technologies.
• Develop and conduct on-site user and admin training for AV systems.
• Provide sales engineering support with requirements and project scoping.
