M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an AV Design Engineer 3 in the Security and Electronic Systems unit to design, engineer, integrate, operate and maintain advanced AV and security solutions for federal, local, and commercial clients.

Role requires experience with AV systems, Crestron/AMX/Extron control systems, and strong collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Travel up to 20% may be required, with a Top Secret DoD clearance in scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience with data center/virtualization tech is preferred.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret DoD clearance.
• Strong communication with executive leadership.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% internationally.

Responsibilities

• Design hardware and software framework for large, resilient AV systems and formulate high-level architecture.
• Test videoconferencing and integrated AV technologies and related control systems.
• Design AV systems with Crestron, AMX, Extron control systems.
• Develop test plans and conduct on-site user training for installed AV systems.
