Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an AV Design Specialist 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems team.

You will design, engineer, integrate, operate and maintain advanced audiovisual and conferencing solutions for federal, local, and commercial clients, including Crestron/AMX/Extron control systems, video walls, and networked AV. The role requires travel up to 20% and potential eligibility for a Top Secret DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and/or testing of electronic security systems
• Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong oral and written communication skills for leadership audiences
• Ability to travel internationally up to 20%

Responsibilities

• Design hardware and software frameworks for large, complex AV systems and draft drawing packages/Bill of Materials
• Design and test videoconferencing and integrated AV technologies (video walls, control systems, displays, cameras)
• Design audio/video systems using Crestron, AMX, Extron
• Conduct site surveys and provide sales engineering support, including cost estimation
• Develop test plans for AV control systems and lead on-site training for installed systems
