Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Engineering or CS.
• Mining/Construction industry experience is required.
• Proven engineering experience as a Software Engineer with requirements.
• Software development experience for machine applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems development and testing across engineering disciplines focusing on safety.
• Champion FuSa and SOTIF for new designs and processes.
• Develop machine safety systems to standards including documentation, design, coding, product quality, and validation.
• Support requirements generation and architecture decisions and tradeoffs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software solutions.
• Conduct system validation through lab and field testing.
• Operate HIL benches and manage tasks using Azure DevOps.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
