• Experience developing and managing system requirements, interfaces, and verification strategies for complex electro-mechanical or autonomy systems.
• Translate operational needs into clear system behaviors, requirements, and integration plans.
• Experience with multi-team development environments and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain system-level requirements for operator safety system capabilities and interfaces.
• Define architectures, operating concepts, use cases, interfaces, and functional allocations.
• Establish traceability between needs, design decisions, verification evidence, and field learnings using Jama.
• Support verification and validation planning across lab, machine, proving ground, and customer sites.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, controls, test, product, and field teams to deliver cohesive safety systems.
• Analyze hazards and scenarios to drive technical decisions and risk-informed trade-offs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues spanning machine operation, sensing, and software behavior.
• Create and maintain systems engineering artifacts including requirements and verification plans.
