Job summary

Caterpillar in Mossville, Illinois, is seeking an Autonomy System Integration Engineer to lead system integration efforts for autonomous mining trucks.

You will design system architecture for autonomy, define interfaces, and manage I/O for machine control hardware while coordinating with partner teams to bring changes from validation to production.

This role requires strong robotics knowledge and the ability to manage multiple priorities, with up to 10% travel and onsite work five days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Robotics, Electrical/Computer/Mech Eng or related field.
• Strong collaboration, organization, and multi-project management skills.
• Strong math and engineering fundamentals; autonomous/robotics experience.
