Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Texas is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while applying leadership to guide a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction.

The position features a flat‑rate pay model with a current pay range of $20.60–$31.55 per hour, plus a $2,000 sign‑on bonus for first‑time hires, ongoing paid formal training, and company support for ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience with brakes and hydraulics, steering & suspension, and alignments.
• Wholesome automotive maintenance and tire repair skills.
• Current federal, state, and local certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, suspension, A/C and electrical systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanics clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and mentor technicians in performing technical activities.
• Aim to obtain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; fees covered by the company; bonuses per test passed.
