Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction. The role emphasizes mentoring, ongoing training, and staying current with automotive technology.

The position offers a competitive hourly pay range ($18.54–$31.63) with a flat-rate pay model, and benefits including medical/dental/vision, paid vacation, and 401(k) matching. Training and ASE certifications are supported.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license.
• Experience with brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering, suspension, and alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state, and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non‑technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, and A/C systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Aim to obtain/maintain ASE certifications within two years, company covers tests/fees.
