Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while applying leadership to mentor a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction across our network of stores. We offer a performance-based, flat-rate pay model, with an hourly range of $20.60 to $31.63.

The company emphasizes fair compensation and current training opportunities, including on-going paid formal training and support to obtain ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license at all times.
• Proven skills in brakes and hydraulics and/or steering and suspension.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair experience.
• Current federal, state, and local certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registration fees are paid for by company pass or fail. Technicians receive bonus for each test passed)
