Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Longview, Texas, is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using your leadership and mentoring skills in driving a team toward increased customer care and satisfaction.

Pay Range: $18.54 - $31.55. Our technicians enjoy a performance-based compensation model known as flat-rate pay, with training and ASE certifications supported by the company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license at all times and ability to drive customer/company vehicles.
• Minimum 3 years automotive repair experience or related training.
• ASE certification in at least 3 of A1-A8 (or equivalent).
• Reads, writes and performs math to understand technical information.
• Maintains applicable federal, state and local certifications/licenses.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications.
• Repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment and A/C systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology via paid formal training.
• Assist fellow technicians in technical tasks.
