Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while guiding a team toward superior customer care. A $1,750 sign-on bonus is offered for first-time hires, with flat-rate pay reflecting regional earning potential.

You will diagnose and repair to specifications, stay current with automotive tech through paid training, and help mentor others. ASE certifications are encouraged and supported.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension or alignments.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair skills.
• Current federal, state and local certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, primary and/or advanced electrical, suspension and alignment.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees are paid for by company pass or fail. Technicians receive bonus for each test passed).
