Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering and alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Ability to convey technical info to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications: brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years of employment.
