Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team to deliver superior customer care. The role includes a $1,500 sign-on bonus for first-time hires and a regional pay range reflective of the market in Minnesota.

The position offers a flat-rate pay model, ongoing formal training, and opportunities for ASE certifications. A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive vehicles.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics and/or steering & suspension/alignments.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair skills.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1-A8 within first two years of employment.
