Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while mentoring a team to boost customer care and satisfaction. The role uses a flat-rate pay model with a $1,750 sign-on bonus for first-time hires, and the pay range reflects regional expectations.

Responsibilities include diagnosing a wide range of systems, training teammates, and pursuing ASE certifications. A valid driver's license and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license at all times.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension and alignments.
• Current federal, state and local certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years (fees paid by company; bonus for tests passed).
