Job summary

Henkel is hiring a Sr. Sales Engineer for Automotive Components in the United States. This role focuses on growing sales within the Indiana territory by aligning with business strategy, managing key accounts, and delivering value through solutions and proposals.

You will collaborate with the technical teams on line trials, cost-saving opportunities, and customer problem solving while maintaining strong relationships and achieving growth targets. Travel at least 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (technical preferred) is required.
• 5+ years of sales or relevant experience in the automotive industry with a proven results track record.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales plan in line with business strategy to deliver sales growth and profitability targets.
• Manage territory to achieve high customer satisfaction and address feedback.
• Assess customer needs, market trends and competition to identify opportunities.
• Develop solutions, manage projects, and build a sustainable pipeline.
• Coordinate with technical teams for line trials and issue resolution.
• Generate compelling, professional business proposals.
