Job summary

ACV Auctions in Vienna, VA is seeking a Sr. Sales Executive to drive dealer partnerships and expand market share across the territory. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with a hands-on, in-person approach and data-driven storytelling.

You’ll travel within the territory, build relationships with dealers and leadership, and meet aggressive targets while leveraging ACV’s digital platform and incentives to win business.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of B2B field sales experience
• 5+ years selling within the automotive industry
• Proven track record of closing deals with high-level decision makers
• CRM fluency (Salesforce) to manage pipeline and reporting
• Strong analytic mindset to prioritize outreach and opportunities
• Mobile, territory-based role requiring daily field presence
• Fluency in English and valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a prioritized prospect list of new franchises and independent rooftops within the territory.
• Execute high-volume outreach through in-person dealership visits, calls, and regional events to develop relationships with decision makers.
• Qualify prospects using ACV's framework and assess opportunities, current channel mix, and decision-makers.
• Lead in-person discovery meetings to understand prospect workflows and challenges.
• Position ACV products against dealer current channels with data-driven value propositions.
• Conduct live platform demos and educate dealers on policies.
• Introduce additional ACV product lines to offer a full-service solution.
• Negotiate and close seller agreements, including pricing.
• Coordinate with Territory Managers for target accounts and handoffs.
• Record and utilize data in Salesforce daily for pipeline and activity tracking.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets consistently.
• Provide feedback on regional market dynamics and trends.
• Other duties as assigned.
