Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a Sr. Sales Executive in the Tysons, VA area to drive new business growth and expand dealer partnerships. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, building relationships face-to-face and traveling within your territory.

You will qualify prospects, conduct live demos, and coordinate with Territory Managers to ensure seamless handoffs. A data-driven, resilient mindset and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of B2B field sales experience.
• Track record of opening net-new accounts and driving expansion.
• Experience selling to senior decision-makers (Dealers Principals, CEOs, COOs).
• CRM usage to manage pipeline and reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a prioritized prospect list within the territory.
• Execute high-volume outreach via in-person visits, calls, and regional events.
• Qualify prospects using opportunity framework and assess opportunities.
• Lead in-person discovery meetings to understand prospect workflows and relationships.
• Position ACV products against dealer channels with data-backed value proposition.
• Conduct live platform demos and educate dealers on policies.
• Introduce additional ACV products for a full-service solution.
• Negotiate and close seller agreements, including pricing.
• Coordinate with Territory Managers for target accounts and handoffs.
• Accurately record activity in Salesforce for pipeline management.
• Aim to achieve or exceed sales and revenue targets.
