Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a Sr. Sales Executive to grow market share by owning end-to-end dealer relationships in your territory. You will travel to engage franchises, conduct in-person demos, and close deals using data-driven insights and ACV's platform.

You will build relationships, qualify opportunities, and coordinate with Territory Managers to ensure smooth handoffs and success. ACV offers a comprehensive benefits package and uncapped incentive potential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of B2B field sales experience opening net-new accounts and expanding business.
• 5+ years selling within the automotive industry.
• Proven ability to close with high-level decision makers (Dealer Principals/CEOs/COOs).
• CRM fluency (Salesforce preferred) to manage pipeline and reporting.
• Strong data-driven approach to prioritize outreach and opportunities.
• Mobile, territory-based role with daily field travel.
• Fluent English in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a prioritized prospect list within the territory.
• Execute high-volume outreach via in-person visits and calls to develop dealer relationships.
• Qualify prospects using opportunity framework and assess value potential.
• Lead in-person discovery meetings about operations and workflows.
• Position ACV's products against dealer channels with data-driven value.
• Conduct live in-person platform demos and educate dealers on policies.
• Introduce additional ACV product lines for a full-service solution.
• Negotiate and close seller agreements, including pricing structures.
• Coordinate with Territory Managers for account handoffs and intel sharing.
• Record activity in Salesforce for pipeline management and reporting.
• Achieve or exceed established sales targets and revenue goals.
• Monitor regional market dynamics and provide feedback.
