Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a resilient Sales Executive to grow dealer partnerships across an assigned territory. You will drive new business from prospecting to closing, with face-to-face engagements, steady pipeline management, and data-driven decision making.

The role requires travel to dealerships, substantial field activity, and the ability to meet or exceed revenue targets while representing ACV’s products and services with credibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B field sales experience.
• 3+ years selling within the automotive industry.
• Ability to close deals with high-level decision makers.
• CRM fluency (Salesforce preferred) to manage your pipeline.
• Travel daily within the territory to meet dealers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a prioritized prospect list for new franchises and independent rooftops.
• Execute high-volume outreach via in-person visits, calls, and events to develop relationships with decision makers.
• Qualify prospects using ACV's framework and assess opportunities.
• Lead in-person discovery meetings to understand prospects' workflows and relationships.
• Negotiate and close seller agreements, including pricing structure.
• Record and manage pipeline in Salesforce daily for reporting.
