Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences is seeking a Senior Automation Solutions Consultant to prospect, scope and close Laboratory Automation Solutions across the Washington State, Western Canada and Utah regions. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and work with Field Application Specialists to deliver end-to-end automation projects.

The role requires a BA/BS in Science and 3+ years of North American sales experience in Life Sciences, with strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

BA or BS in Science, Chemistry, Biology or Environmental Science or equivalent.
3+ years of sales experience in North America with knowledge of Biopharma, Academia, Government and Life Sciences markets.
Exposure to Laboratory Automation is highly desirable.
Clinical, Pharmaceutical, or Synthetic Biology Lab experience.
Strong analytical skills, problem solving attitude and solid business acumen.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Scope and deliver Laboratory Automation Solutions with Field Application Specialist and Field Project Manager.
Grow market share in the territory and represent the organization in negotiations, trade shows and conferences.
Collaborate with team members to provide best-in-class automated solutions.
Deliver Territory Sales Quota for Hardware and Consumables and participate in DBS-driven improvements.
Drive Voice of the Customer back into the business and advocate for customer solutions.
